What is Airsoft?

Airsoft is a game where players partake in a simulated gun combat scenario. It’s very similar to paintball but uses BB pellets (spherical plastic projectiles). These are launched using replica air weapons like airsoft guns.

Airsoft Gameplay

Gameplay can vary dependant on the type of game you choose. This can range from organised scenarios, close quarters battles, skirmishes, or even specific historical re-enactments. Some combat games may use actual military tactics to get you in the zone, where players can either work together or claim the crown for the last man standing.

What is Laser Tag?

In a game of laser tag, players use artificial guns which fire infrared beams. Each player wears a laser tag vest which is marked with infrared-sensitive targets that their opponents must hit. Because players aren’t physically hit with an object, it’s a very popular game amongst all ages.

Laser Tag Gameplay

Because of the technical capabilities involved in laser tag, the gameplay varies a lot. This can range from simulated combat, sci-fi scenarios, fantasy and more. There are often variations in how players can win laser tag, including points scored, number of lives, and rate of fire. Laser tags have proven very popular for events like birthdays, especially amongst children.

What is Paintball?

Paintball is a competitive gamer where players are tasked with eliminating other players by hitting them with a paintball (dye-filled gelatin sphere capsules). The paintballs break upon impact, shot from an air weapon. Paintball is considered a sport, as well as for recreational purposes.

Paintball Gameplay

Paintball can be played both indoors and outdoors. The terrain is usually built-up by using natural surroundings or artificial objects where players can take cover. Game types include capture the flag, elimination, or capturing specific objects hidden around the playable area. Most games last for a specific number of minutes or hours, whereas some can go on over multiple days.
